Due to the Arcadia Group liquidation, all of its retail stores across the UK were left vacant with all fixtures and fittings left intact. Kayedem Demolition were instructed to carry out a full strip out of the former retail to unit to return the unit back to it original state in preparation for TK Maxx to take over the lease.

Kayedem carried out a full internal strip out of the former clothing store. All fixtures, fittings, partition walls and cladding were removed to take the unit back to shell. The front Planar glass shop front along with all signage was removed by use of a spider crane with glass lifting attachments.

Following the lease been taken out by TK Maxx Kayedem were appointed to carry out a range of additional works such as the removal of the former staircases leading to the mezzanine, forming 3 no large apertures through 250mm reinforced concrete to make way for goods and personnel lifts and forming a new lift pit.
