In 2021 we were contacted by Sytner Group, to carry out renovation of their grounds at a leading dealership. They required an immaculate and formal appearance to ensure the customer-facing aspects of their showroom are in keeping with the brand.
After meeting with the head of Business, we conducted a full site review and established a plan of action to revamp the grounds. We began with the landscaping and over the course of several planned maintenance visits removed old and tired shrubbery and planted new ornamental plants finished with ornamental landscaping mulch. This has given the area a fresher and more appealing view for visitors and staff.
Once we improved the landscaping, our client noticed many of the parking bay lines were discoloured and faded. We recommended re-lining with non-toxic thermoplastic Road markings.Being a fully operational showroom, we had a small time frame to complete the work and therefore worked out of hours to avoid any inconvenience.
Now the customer facing areas were looking more inviting, we concentrated on the grounds to the rear of the building. Over time, moss and algae had taken over most of the carpark which made the area look unwelcoming and created a health and safety issue. Our teams sprayed the whole area with a moss and algae treatment and allowed the formula to soak in, ready for us to use our powerful pressure washer bowser.
The high traffic volume area of the valet bay had loose and broken tiles in need of repair which caused large puddles to form. We agreed the most cost-efficient way would be to remove all tiles and prepare the ground in order to lay new commercial-grade floor tiles which as a result are easier to maintain and much smoother for the vehicles.
Kayedem is now, a proudly, valued maintenance contractor and regularly attends the grounds keeping the site to a high standard as required for such a well-established prestigious business.
